Year 8 Car Wash

On Monday Year 8 escaped the soaring temperatures by washing staff and parent cars as part of their Lenten Charity appeal. Armed with sponges and a hose, they did a fabulous job and the staff were delighted with their shiny cars!  The children raised over £100 for the Halow Project, a local charity that helps vulnerable people live independently.

Special thanks should go to Philip’s grandad who very bravely let the Year 8 children loose on his car first! Thank you also to Kim and Wes for all their help in organising this.
