GB Hockey at The Olympic Park

On Saturday 20th June, 31 children set off to watch GB men play Argentina and GB women play Australia at the Lee Valley Hockey Centre.

The men’s game finished with a 1-1 draw that led to an exciting shoot out to determine the winner. GB men won 3-1!

The women’s game was equally skilful and fast paced but sadly the GB women lost 3-0 to Australia.

The Barrow Hills pupils were lucky to spend time getting autographs from the players post match and even had a group shot with Tess Howard and also Jonny Gall. A brilliant day! A big thank you to Mrs Mullins for staffing the trip!
