Strong Performances at Hurstpierpoint Athletics Competition

On Wednesday, 7th May, Barrow Hills took part in a large athletics competition held at Hurstpierpoint College, with 15 schools participating.

Here are some of the results for the girls who finished in the top five placings:

U10 Girls 75m – 3rd: Honeysuckle (5R), 11.77 seconds
U10 Girls 70m Hurdles – 3rd: Honeysuckle (5R), 15.55 seconds
U10 Girls 800m – 4th: Sophie (5R), 3:01 minutes

Year 6
U11 Girls 100m – 4th: Arabella (6R), 15.45 seconds
U11 Girls Long Jump – 4th: Hermione (6G), 3.61m
U11 Girls Discus – 3rd: Arabella (6R), 14.40m
U11 Girls 200m – 2nd: Hermione (6G), 31.9 seconds
U11 Girls 300m – 2nd: Hermione (6G), 51.6 seconds
U11 Girls 4 x 100m Relay – 3rd: Annabel (6R), Arabella (6R), Honeysuckle (5R), Hermione (5R)
