Message From the Head
Dear Parents,

It has been a full and busy first week back. On the performing arts front, we awarded a score of LAMDA certificates today, running at a magnificent 96% distinction rate, quality indeed!
Our curriculum and extra-curricular clubs are back in full swing, as are competitive matches against Amesbury, Westbourne House, Cranleigh, and Ditcham Park for both girls and boys.
Thank you to all the parents who attended our beginning of year information sessions. On a more social note, we have the annual welcome-back BBQ tomorrow with the Parent Association from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Do join us!
More generally, my walks of the ‘shop floor’ revealed a 2–13 picture as smooth as you could hope for in a first full week of the academic year – with learning, atmosphere, and behaviour quickly settling into a low hum of excellent expectation. By the end of the year, alongside a cornucopia of good stuff, I fully expect our attainment at 11+ and 13+ to once again sit well above national and local standards.
Have a great weekend and hope to see many of you tomorrow at the BBQ.
Mr Towers, Head
