Our 'Growing' Nursery

The Nursery has continued to have a wonderful time exploring the topic of ‘Growing’ this week. Our broad beans have sprouted with the lovely warm weather we had last week, and we continue to monitor and water them daily.

This week, we read the story Oliver’s Vegetables. We used our fine motor skills to create colorful vegetables and a large vegetable basket. We discussed the different colors and where vegetables grow. We also ventured into the gardens and explored Mr. Gasga’s vegetable patch.

We are so looking forward to next week’s visit from ‘Backyard Bugs’! What a lot of fun we are having in Nursery!

A gentle reminder to send a water bottle to school with your child, particularly as the weather gets warmer.
