VE Day Celebrations in Kindy

This week, we’ve been talking to the children about the 80th anniversary of VE Day. We’ve explored what this special day means and how people celebrated the end of World War II in Europe. The children enjoyed learning about history in a fun and age-appropriate way, through stories and pictures.

A special thank you to one of our children who brought in a lovely photo of his great-grandma celebrating VE Day in France — what a wonderful way to connect the past with the present!
