Welcome to Kindy

It has been wonderful to welcome all the Kindy children back to school and it has been lovely to see how quickly they have settled in, made new friends and enjoyed all the different learning opportunities.

The children love the new layout of the classroom and have particularly enjoyed exploring the new home corner, sticking and creating on the new and improved craft table and playing in our new cosy construction area. They have learnt their first sound ‘m’ and have been so enthusiastic about having a go at writing the sound in their new Phonic Workbooks!

The ‘Book of the Week’ was Parrots don’t live in the City and the children have also enjoyed learning the digit  0. They now know that zero means nothing and they have been able to show this using manipulatives.

The Kindy children have all earned several stickers in their super new sticker books. A huge well done to all the Kindy children!
