Making friends in Reception

The children have made a wonderful start to their time in Reception and have settled into their new class so well. They have been busy making new friends, getting to know their teachers and exploring their new classroom and garden. They are also beginning to get to grips with our very full timetable and all the routines that comes with being in Reception.

They are a busy bunch and have already shown such enthusiasm and curiosity when exploring new things. Their first full week has included lots of exciting experiences, including PE, French, music and swimming lessons. Some children have even had the chance to try some of the wonderful after school clubs on offer.

Well done, everyone, on such a great start to Reception. We are so proud of how well they have settled in and are looking forward to all the adventures ahead.
