World Ocean Day 2026 - Kindy & Nursery

The Kindy and Nursery children have loved learning about the importance of looking after our oceans. They demonstrated excellent teamwork as they cleaned up an ocean and beaches in the Kindy classroom, using tweezers to collect rubbish and place it into bags. The children also made thoughtful decisions about whether the rubbish could be recycled or not.

It was wonderful to see the children working together and to listen to their ideas throughout the activity. The difference in the beaches and the ocean after the children had completed their clean-up was amazing to see.
