Mosaic Art in Year 1

This week the children have loved making mosaic shapes and pictures.

They thought about the picture they would like to make, and carefully drew it on a piece of paper. They then chose different coloured mosaic ’tiles’ and carefully peeled and stuck to create cars, hearts, butterflies and rainbows – some with a pot of gold at the end!

It was lovely to see how absorbed the children were in their task, and how proud they were of the finished pictures.
