A Fantastic Start to the Year!

A big well done to all of Year 2 for such a brilliant start to the new school year! It has been a busy and exciting first week back, and the children have settled in beautifully.

This week, we’ve been writing postcards, sequencing stories, brushing up on our knowledge of the continents, diving into our new science topic on electricity, and exploring place value in maths. We’ve also had plenty of fun outside, from getting wonderfully muddy on the football pitch to enjoying classifying mushrooms in Forest School!

It’s been a fantastic start to what promises to be a fun and rewarding year.
