Storytime in Nursery

This week in Nursery we have been visited by the lovely Mrs Withers, our librarian. The children enjoy listening to stories, looking at pictures and joining in with sounds and actions. These visits support Communication and language as the children develop their listening skills and early vocabulary. The children enjoy sharing stories together and show lots of interest in books

Our book of the week is ‘In My Heart’ a beautifully illustrated book about emotions. Our number of the week is 2 and our colour of the week is Orange. We have also been exploring the heart shape, and the children have been busy creating some lovely heart themed artwork to take home.
