Netball & Tag Rugby vs Pennthorpe

We were delighted to host another sports fixture against Pennthorpe for our Year 2 class this week.

They started with netball and small 5-a-side games and our children looked strong demonstrating excellent passing and good footwork. Moving to the astro for tag rugby it is fantastic to see so many Year 2 children scoring tries. Running forwards at speed as soon as they have the ball is now their natural reaction. Fantastic to watch.

Special mention to Hugo and Leo from Year 1 who stepped up to play with Year 2 for the afternoon so 3 teams could be created.

Lastly a very big thank you to Mateo, Philip and Thomas from Year 8 for leading the 3 teams in their role as Year 8 captains. You did a great job and kept control beautifully!
