Nursery Rhyme Week Celebration

This week, Nursery and Kindy joined together to celebrate Nursery Rhyme Week. The children loved coming together to sing, move and play as one big group, building confidence and friendships across both rooms.

We have been singing some of our favourite rhymes including ‘Miss Polly had a Dolly,’ ‘Humpty Dumpty’ and ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.’ Through these familiar songs the children have been developing their communication and language skills, exploring rhythm and rhyme, and joining in with repeated phrases and actions.

We have also seen some wonderful personal, social and emotional development as the older children supported the younger ones, showing kindness and teamwork.
