Animal Adventures in Nursery

What an exciting week we have had in Nursery, with a very special visit from ‘Pets on the Green’. The children had an amazing hands-on experience meeting a variety of animals and were able to carefully hold, stroke and pet them. We met a bearded dragon, a royal ball python and a lovely Galah called Rosie. There was lots of excitement as the children talked about what the animals felt like, how they moved and the different sounds they made.

The star of the show was definitely Preston the guinea pig, who loved all the gentle cuddles and strokes from the children. Many of the children couldn’t stop smiling when Preston snuggled into their laps.

It was so lovely to see the children being so calm, caring and curious throughout the session. Well done Nursery!
