Sayers Croft Residential with Year 4

The Year 4 children had an unforgettable residential trip to Sayers Croft Outdoor Learning Centre, where they enjoyed three action-packed days exploring nature,  and working as a team.

The children took part in a wide range of exciting outdoor activities. Highlights included using bat detectors on an evening Bat Walk, getting very wet in a stream walk, building shelters strong enough to survive a “bear attack”, and gathering around the campfire to toast marshmallows and share jokes together.

Throughout the trip, the children showed excellent teamwork, resilience and enthusiasm. They challenged themselves to try new experiences, support one another and step outside their comfort zones. We were incredibly proud of the positive attitudes and behaviour shown by all the children.

The trip created wonderful memories that the children and staff will remember for years to come.
