Year 5 Scientists

Children in year 5 were treated to a Science Busking led by Charterhouse students. The atmosphere was electric as they got hands-on with a variety of clever challenges – from engineering “glove-a-phones” to investigating acoustics, to observing vibrant chemical reactions through Skittles chromatography. Whether they were testing the physics of balance and center of mass in the “sumo wrestler” activity, or exploring the hilarious side of air pressure with whoopee cushions, the children were fully immersed in the joy of discovery.
