Feeding the Birds in Forest School

Birds eat a great variety of food; worms, seeds and berries can all be sourced from nature. But, if like me, you enjoy having lots of birds in your garden, then you can buy seeds, mealworms, fat balls, etc, to attract the birds to your garden, or have a go at making your own!

We have been using our fine motor skills this week, threading hooped cereal onto string to create a garland of food to leave out for the birds.

I suspect there will be some other woodland animals having a nibble for breakfast!
