Year 2 Visit The Look Out Discovery Centre

On Monday, Year 2 headed off for an exciting day at The Look Out Discovery Centre!

The children took part in a lively workshop exploring materials, with a special focus on electricity and magnetism and even got to create a human circuit! During the day they made balloons fly, captured their own shadows, explored the world of thermal imaging, watched ice freeze under a microscope, climbed a very tall tower and created swirling water vortices and showed a super amount of scientific thinking! It was a fantastic day full of curiosity, exploration and scientific fun, with lots of exciting discoveries along the way.

We can’t wait for our next trip!
