Making Colour With Skittles In Kindy

The Kindy children have had a wonderful week full of fun and exciting learning experiences!

Our book of the week has been Little Chameleon, our number of the week has been 3, and our Sounds of the Week have focused on revisiting the first five sounds: m, a, s, d and t.

We have enjoyed an exciting colour-mixing science activity, helping the children to develop their understanding of how our elusive chameleon uses camouflage to blend into its surroundings. The children also explored colour mixing using paint on paper plates, discovering the wonderful colours they could create.

To finish off our colourful week, we explored the magic of Skittles! The children were fascinated to watch as the addition of water created beautiful patterns and vibrant colours.
