Woodland Adventures with Nursery

The children had a lovely morning in the woods with Mrs Wilson this week, enjoying the fresh air and exploring the natural environment. They showed great curiosity as they discovered different natural materials; collecting leaves, sticks and other interesting ingredients to use in their play.

The children worked so well together, sharing bowls and taking turns as they stirred their mixture. We heard lots of lovely language, including “lets do it together,” and “lets pour it into this one now” showing their growing confidence in communication and cooperation.

They demonstrated kindness and care towards one another, helping friends and making sure everyone was included. The children were engaged and imaginative. It was wonderful to see their teamwork, problem solving and social skills developing through such meaningful outdoor play.
