Surrey County Cross-Country Championships

On Saturday 17th January 2 Barrow Hills Year 7 pupils raced in the Surrey County Cross-Country Championships held in Priory Park, Reigate.

They knew they wanted a spot in the top 20 of their race in order to qualify for the county team and we are delighted to report that James H came 18th in the U13 boys race (3.2km) and Hermione came 19th in the U13 girls race (3.2km). Both of our pupils needed a long but quick sprint finish at the end in order to break into the top 20 and managed it!

Very well run both of you in an impressive fast field of athletes.
