Kindy Explores the Pink Tuff Tray!

The Kindy children love the opportunity to explore tuff trays.

We make sure that the trays are varied for different experiences.

We use a mixture of coloured sand, shells, small world figures and animals, pasta, rice lentils, straw and vehicles plus many more resources.

The children have loved exploring a fantasy tuff tray this week. It was a delight to create! There are sparkly pom poms, pink stones, shells, carriages, knights, fairies, wizards and spoons.

It is fascinating to watch the children’s ideas develop. The children loved filling the shells with small stones. They then pretended they were in an egg and spoon race with the sparkly pom poms! So much wonderful conversation takes place as the children learn through play.
