Year 1 Enjoying the Last Week of Term!

Year 1 have had a lovely last week of the Spring term, with some warm sunshine, the Spring production, Easter bonnet procession and Easter art alongside the usual learning.

The children really enjoyed making Easter cards for their parents. They used potatoes, corks and paint to fill in the outline of an Easter egg, and carefully wrote their Easter message inside. We also made some lovely Easter biscuits, using our maths knowledge to carefully weigh out the ingredients and blend them together to make a dough. The children loved icing the biscuits and decorating them!
