Kindy and The Stick Man

The children in Kindy have had a wonderful week. They have been learning the sound ‘g’ and the number 7.

The book of the week was ‘Stick Man’ which has provided some fantastic activities – the children have made stick people out of playdough and natural resources including sticks, shells, leaves and acorns.

As one of their maths activities the children have enjoyed learning to measure sticks using multi link cubes.

The children enjoyed finding seven Stick Men hidden round the room.

There have been some fantastic discussions and lovely creative ideas.
