Year 1 Angels!

This week the children have been involved in Nativity rehearsals, and trying on their costumes for the Nativity performance.

Most of the class are going to be angels, so we thought that it would be fun to make some clay angels for Christmas, as a memento. The children carefully wrote out a list of instructions for modelling the clay. Then they rolled out clay to fashion heads, bodies and wings, and completed the look with a tinsel halo. We are looking forward to painting the angels next week when the clay has dried, and seeing the finished models.
