Green Commendations

Congratulations to the Year 5 girls who have achieved their Green Commendations for their work in Science:

Poppy – created an impressive feature-length film in which she designed and carried out her own scientific investigation into the efficiency of different filters.

Abhi – explored filtration through the lens of a human biology, linking the process to renal filtration in kidneys.

Cassie – conducted her own at-home investigation, demonstrating the different effects of graded filters.

Clemmie – designed and built a portable filter using an old plastic bottle, rocks, sand, cotton wool and fabric, applying practical problem-solving skills.
