Gingerbread Baking with Year 2

This week the children had a wonderful time getting into the Christmas spirit with some festive gingerbread making. With the fairy lights twinkling and Christmas songs playing. They worked together to prepare the mixture with the fantastic support of Mrs Withers, who helped guide them through each step.

Once the dough was ready, the children enjoyed cutting out their gingerbread people, baking them, and adding some festive fun with their own creative decorations. The results smelled (and looked!) amazing.
