Remembering Together in Nursery

This week the children have been busy painting wooden poppies as part of our creative activities. Through this, we explored our colour of the week ‘red’ and looked at shape, supporting the children’s Expressive Arts and Design.

We spoke gently about remembrance day, helping the children begin to understand that it is a time when people say thank you to the soldiers who helped to keep us safe.

Their artwork will be displayed in our room to help us remember and give thanks together.
