The Magic Carpet

I love coming back to school after the October half term, there’s a feeling of anticipation in the air of wonderful things to come!
As we entered the forest area this week, we were greeted by a carpet of yellow leaves covering the ground, as though they had all been perfectly put in their place!

We have made natural fireworks, by threading the best leaves along individual lengths of string, secured at the end with a conker. The bright red stems look like sparks flying! Adding these to our previously made autumn bunting, has really added a touch of firework magic to the fire circle area!
