Year 8 - The Drop...

On Tuesday 17th June our Year 8 children were dropped at an unknown location with a map and a compass and had the challenge of working out where they were and then plot a route back to school avoiding roads. They were split into two groups with both walking approximately 13km and they proved to be incredibly able with a map. They had a paddle in Frensham Ponds, met soldiers on Hankley Common and even chose to eat lunch whilst walking in an attempt to be the first group back to school.

Year 8 you were delightful and I am pleased the teachers could still keep up with your walking speed just about!
