The Barrow Hills Summer Book Challenge

The library challenge this summer is designed to encourage children across the school to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the holidays, as well as helping to prevent the annual summer reading ‘dip’.

There are two challenges – one for Pre-Prep and one for Prep – or you can do both!

Our prep challenge mirrors the public libraries initiative that runs all summer – visit your local library and collect your folder and rewards- this year the theme is Nature and the Great Outdoors. Every completed and returned challenge form (see attached) will receive a certificate and a prize. To recognise the larger books, current year 4 and 5 are reading, they will also receive a book of their choice from the Buzz shortlist.
