Year 1&2 Tornado Cricket vs Pennthorpe

On Monday 23rd June Year 1&2 played Tornado Cricket vs Pennthorpe. The children were split into 3 mixed ability teams and had to hit a ball off a ‘tee’ and then run as fast as they could around bases to see how many points they could score off their hit. It was great to watch the children bat so confidently and strike the balls into gaps they had spotted amongst the fielding team.

A match tea of hot dogs and brownies is always an added bonus before an exciting minubus journey back to school!

Well done to all Year 1 and Year 2 children for representing Barrow Hills with pride.
