Kindy’s Butterfly Adventure

Over the past few weeks, the children have been busy observing the life cycle of a butterfly in Kindy. We started with tiny caterpillars, the children loved to watch them as they grew bigger and bigger just like in our story of ‘ The Hungry Caterpillar’ and formed their cocoons (chrysalides) . The children waited patiently for them to transform into beautiful butterflies. We learnt new vocabulary like chrysalis and metamorphosis and finally got to release them, a perfect way to end a wonderful journey.
