Seaford Cross-Country

On Friday 12th September children in U9, U10 and U11 ran cross-country at Seaford. 20 schools took part with 100 children in every race. Barrow Hills achieved some excellent results with all children finishing and no one in tears – excellent work! The following children finished in the top 10 for their age group:

U9 girls – Lottie 5th
U10 girls – Nuala  5th
U10 girls – Georgia 9th
U11 girls – Sophie  4th

A special mention to Nuala who ran 1.5km in U10 girls race and then ran 1.5km again 10 minutes later in the U11 girls competition to try and secure the U11 girls a team win. Barrow Hills were sadly beaten by Ardingly and Churcher’s, but Nuala in Year 5 came 29th out of 100 girls in the Year 6 race. Very impressive Nuala!
