Pre-Prep Forest School

With apple season underway, I have been telling the children tales of a man named Johnny Appleseed.
Johnny was an American pioneer nurseryman who planted apple trees across large parts of North America, back in the early 1800’s. He is known for his generous, kind nature and love of the outdoors.

The children enjoyed listening to the story, hunting for a golden apple and measuring & planting sticks, 10cm apart, just like Johnny did with his apple seeds!
