Rotary Young Writers’ Competition

42 of our young writers were commended in the recent Rotary Club Young Writers’ Competition. 

In Year 5, these were: Olivia, Stanley, Hattie, Emma, Scarlett, Vasco, Cedric, Nuala, Talia, Rollo, Lucinda, Poppy, Mathilda, Alice, Emilia, Jamie, Elodie, and Camilla. 

In Year 6: Freddie, Luke, Charlotte, Ben, Toby, Wilfred, Leo, Sophie, Henry, Leonidas, Reuben, Isobel.

In Year 8: Delilah, Alfie, Thomas, Reuben, George, Philip, Josh, George, Ben, Charlie, Henry, and James.

Special mentions (and please stand up to be clapped) go to Delilah and Tom in Year 8 who went through to the District Finals for the Intermediate Section, and to Alice, Leonidas, Isobel and Mathilda who all went through to the District Finals of the Junior Section, with Mathilda going through to the National Finals. We look forward to hearing the results in late May / early June. Well done, everyone.
