Barrow Hills Pentathlon 2026

We hosted our annual Pentathlon on Tuesday 19th May competing against: Aldro, Amesbury, Pennthorpe and St Edmund’s.

All children participated in 5 events throughout the afternoon: 70m Hurdles, 150m, Ball Throw, Long Jump, 800m. The athletes scores from all 5 events were added up and children were then given an overall finishing position within their age group. I am delighted to say Barrow Hills won 7 out of the 18 medals and the U11 girls won their age group. We only just lost our in the overall school competition to Aldro who pipped us to the win by a very small margin: next year we will try again!

Well done to all 30 Barrow Hills children who participated and performed brilliantly.
