House Maths
On Monday everyone took part in the Maths House Competition. Well done for your enthusiasm and hard work in tackling the questions. This year’s challenge was significantly more difficult than last year’s, yet, as a school, you rose to the occasion and achieved some outstanding scores. A special mention must go to Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 for their truly impressive number of correct answers.
The final results were incredibly close. Across all year groups, there were 560 questions in total, and the winning house came out on top by just six correct answers. That’s how close the competition was!
Results:
3rd place: Murtough with 72% correct answers.
2nd place: McCormack with 78% correct answers.
1st place: Kean with 79% correct answers.
Well done, Kean!!
