Year 1 Recognise Left and Right

In Maths, the Year 1 children are working on position and direction. After learning about ‘left’ and ‘right’ in class, they headed up to the hard court, armed with chalk and bean bags. With a learning partner, they practised moving themselves and their bean bags so many places to the left and to the right.

It was good to be able to make use of the little sunny weather we had this week, and our lovely grounds for our maths lesson!
