Primary Maths Challenge

23rd November 2015

The Primary Mathematics Challenge is a fun and exciting mathematical Challenge aimed at children, who have shown a particular interest in maths and are between 9 and 11 and live in the United Kingdom.

The PMC is not designed to be just another test in the school year, it encourages enthusiasm, boosts confidence in mathematics and shows the different way questions can be asked. The language used and the way that children are asked to think shows that not all mathematics questions comes down to your mathematical knowledge but rather your interpretation of the question and in some cases reading it properly!

Well done to the winners:

Bronze: George, Ben, Belle, Matthew, Bethany

Silver: Toby, Eddie, Eleanor

Gold: Elena, Hettie
