The Barrow Hills community is busy and thriving. We offer an extended day until 6.00pm which maximises the use of our magical grounds and facilities and also lets parents enjoy greater flexibility in the times they deliver and collect their children.

Breakfast at Barrow Hills

Whether arriving directly by School minibus or by car, all of our day pupils arrive ready to join their Barrow Hills family and friends for a nourishing breakfast at 7.45am or for registration in class at 8.20am. A time to connect, catch up and talk about ongoing activities and events, we encourage all of our children to embrace a moment to think ahead and prepare for all that the vibrant school day ahead offers. Breakfact club does not require booking in advance.

After School Care Pre-Prep Department

For children in Pre-Prep (Nursery – Year 2), there is the option of what we affectionately call ‘Club’. Children are supervised at the end of their formal learning day either in one of our warm and friendly classrooms or if the weather is nice in the glorious Pre-Prep outdoor gardens. Club is available until 6.00pm once the children are in Kindy and have had their 3rd birthday. For our youngest children in Nursery, Club is available until 4.30pm.

After School Care Prep Department

For children in the Prep and Upper (Years 3 – 8) supported after school study is provided for all allowing for homework to be completed before children head home to relax and unwind after their busy day.  A hot meal is provided at 4.45pm and children are able to stay saftely and happily until 6.00pm.
