The children had an amazing day last Friday when we visited the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium. We started the day with a hands-on workshop creating our very own non-utonium fluid (more commonly known as SLIME!) which linked perfectly with our recent topic about States of Matter.
The children then explored the Planetarium for a wonderful show all about the constellations and our Solar System – we all felt completely immersed in the night sky!
For the rest of the trip the children explored all the wonderful and interactive exhibits ranging from sound to what it takes to be an astronaut. The day was greatly enjoyed by everyone, including Mr Unwin, Mr Behan and Mrs Wallace!
