This week our two Year 6 teams took part in an exhilarating VEX Robotics Competition at Charterhouse School, going head-to-head with teams from five other schools in a showcase of engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork. With each school entering two teams, the competition was fierce, but our children rose to the challenge, demonstrating impressive creativity and resilience.
Throughout the event, our teams tackled a variety of robotics challenges, from precision programming to strategic maneuvering. Their hard work and dedication paid off, with a strong 2nd place for one of our teams and a special mention to our other team for their teamwork.
More importantly, the experience provided valuable lessons in collaboration, perseverance, and STEM innovation. We’re incredibly proud of how our children represented our school and can’t wait to see what they accomplish in future competitions! Well done, Year 6!
