Message From the Head
Dear Parents,
To complement our provision at the top end (the new flexi-boarding offer announced last week for Year 7 and 8 pupils), we have also started something new at the smaller end with our new ‘Tree Tots’ provision for very tiny people. Each Wednesday, we offer an hour of play for children from 6 months old, accompanied by their parents. If you have any family or friends who might like to connect with us, please do let them know.On the curriculum front, it was lovely to see the enthusiasm in Year 2 during their Roman Day, and likewise the excitement around numeracy with Reception’s Number Fun Day (maths can, and should, be fun and creative at times).
Our U11 girls have travelled to Rugby School today to compete in the regional IAPS Netball Tournament. They have much to live up to following the success of previous seasons, but they are showing really strong form at the moment, finishing in the top 3 of their last two qualifying tournaments.
Looking ahead to next week, a reminder that our Pre-Prep Grandparents’ afternoon takes place on 12th February – always a particularly lovely event in our annual calendar.
Warm regards,
Mr Towers, Head
