This week, Year 6 are looking into paper helicopters. After being inspired by a drifting sycamore seed, they were set the challenge of investigating whether the length of the blades, and therefore the overall surface area of the wing, would affect the time it takes for the paper helicopter to get to the ground.
It was great to get the children outside, in some sunshine, which has been a nice change from the rain we have been experiencing… onto the next lesson, will the children find any correlation?
