Our Pre-Prep children enjoyed a wonderful end of year celebration on Tuesday. Parents and grandparents gathered on the back lawn to join all of Pre-Prep in celebrating another year of learning and fun. Awards were given, there were some great group performances and some of our older children in Years 6 and 8 shared their favourite memories of time in Pre-Prep (a few years ago now!).
Our Year 2 children have also spent time this week thinking about their favourite memories:
Alex: My highlight was definitely our first cricket match against another school and nearly bowling out Mr Smith.
Arlo: I loved the our visit to the Arundel Wetlands Centre when I was in Reception class.
Bas: The colour run that we did in reception is my favourite memory.
Charlie: My favourite memory was visiting the Victorian classroom at Guildford Museum in Year 1.
Danylo: One of my favourite memories was using the VR headsets in History to visit Egypt and the pyramids.
Hugh: My favourite memories are always from Sports Day, especially in Year 1.
Ishir: I loved my first visit to Forest School.
Theo: I always enjoy dressing up for World Book Day, especially my pigeon costume.
Vidur: I was fascinated by the mummy and the ancient Egyptian exhibits at the Haslemere Museum.
Zac: I really enjoyed the Easter Bunny Runs around the school grounds.
