Summer Term Music Events

Class Concerts – dates and parental invitations to be sent out nearer the time.

Venue: Music School

Children involved: class groups

Informal concerts during the school day and parents of that class will be invited to attend.

Proms Rehearsal – Friday 9th June

Venue: Outdoor stage

Children involved: those taking part in musical items; including Year 2 Choir, Year 3 and 4 Nightingale Choir, Years 5-8.

Rehearsal for Proms the following day. No parental invitation.

Proms in the Park – Saturday 10th June – all parents and the community are welcome to attend.

Venue: Outdoor stage

Children involved: those taking part in musical items; including Year 2 Choir, Year 3 and 4 Nightingale Choir, Years 5-8.

Please note Proms has a wonderful variety of acts and all children will be invited to perform as music, drama and dance join together for an afternoon’s entertainment.

ABRSM examination – Monday 3rd July

Venue: King Edward’s Witley

Children involved: those signed up to take music exams this term

Termly examination slot, during the school day. No parental invitation.

Year 8 Leavers Service – Thursday 6th July – open to parents of Year 8

Venue: Barrow Hills Chapel

Children involved: Bridewell Choir

The final service of the year and Bridewell Choir will be singing in Chapel.

Prize Giving – Thursday 6th July

Venue: Barrow Hills

Children involved: Skull Splitters, 4 stars and Thorn

The final part of the last day of term will involve the three bands that will be performing for the final time at Barrow Hills.
