Head of Chemistry/ Head of Science

This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a new Head of Chemistry to join a flourishing boarding and day school, set on an attractive 100-acre campus and in a beautiful part of rural Surrey. The additional role of Head of Science may be available for the right candidate.

This appointment is important for the continuing academic growth of the School, at an exciting moment following significant investment into new buildings, with growing pupil numbers and clear evidence of development in all areas of School life.

The role of Head of Science is available for an experienced and inspiring classroom practitioner who will already have academic leadership experience and who is now looking for the next step
in their career. They will take the lead in coordinating the Programmes of Study in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and will be eager to promote Science more generally within and beyond the School as an influential voice in the School academic leadership.

• support pupils and colleagues to achieve their fullest potential, providing effective management, leadership and development to ensure a positive and forward-thinking workplace.
