Subject Co-ordinator for BTEC Sport

September 2024 start

We are looking for a suitably experienced practitioner of BTEC Sport who will have the exciting opportunity of embedding the programme into our expanding Sixth Form.  We are very much open to applications from both the state and independent sector.  From September 2024, a two A-Level equivalent BTEC is to be offered to our pupils for the first time.  It is essential that the successful candidate has significant experience of BTEC Sport at Level 3 and would be able to lead the department in delivery of the programme whilst also ensuring the foundations of the course are meticulously planned and delivered.

Alongside leading the BTEC Sport programme, the successful candidate will also be expected to coach our main core sports at the school (football, cricket, netball and hockey) to a good level and, perhaps, at a very high level in one of these sports.
